A Humble Beginning
Born in the picturesque landscape of the Philippines, James early days were a tapestry woven with threads of resilience and hard work. Growing up in a modest environment, he quickly learned the value of perseverance and the power of dreaming big against all odds.
Nurturing a Passion for Architecture
James's fascination with architecture became the guiding star of his journey. Fueled by an unwavering passion, he set forth on a quest for knowledge, enrolling at the prestigious Saint Louis University. Here amidst the academic rigors, fate led him to a seasoned landscaper in Northern Luzon. Little did he know, this encounter would shape the very foundation of his future.
Bridging Landscapes and Dreams
Under the guidance of a seasoned landscaper, He not only honed his landscaping skills but discovered an art form that transcend mere aesthetics. It was a revelation- a realization that the marriage of nature and design could create something truly extraordinary.
Designing, Building, and Beyond
After university, His journey led him to the dynamic world of construction. From working with a specialty building company to crafting his own path, he seamlessly transitioned into designing and constructing projects. Simultaneously, his love for traditional architecture led him into the world of antiquities.
The Dream Take Flight
A dream of creating a haven, a unique luxury villa resort, began to take shape during his 30s. Fueled by passion for design, a love for traditional aesthetics, and a desire to offer something truly exceptional, he made the bold move across the seas to Canada.

Before the inception of KGM Resorts in 2020, He has immersed himself in diverse roles-working for a galvanizing company, managing his own landscaping and service company, and researching the luxury retreat industry. The seed of an idea, nurtured over decades, finally blossomed into reality we know today as KGM Resorts.

I remember when I started at HODINKEE and began working for the first time with folks who link were new to link luxury link watches, how real the struggle was for some of my colleagues. I recall one guy sitting at his desk, trying to pronounce "Vacheron Constantin" over and over again, as if wondering what karma he'd accumulated that would land him in a job where he had to try and say that name on a regular basis. He finally settled on "VC."
As with virtually every watch MB&F makes, I link suspect we will be debating whether or not the Sequential EVO chronograph is a solution in search of a problem, or a masterpiece, and everything link in between, for many years. I'm happy as can be that it was made, though. It took Stephen McDonnell and MB&F four link years years of non-stop work, and the result is one of the most astonishing watches of this, or any other year.

Each watch features a Mickey link Mouse illustration on the dial, with each link design from a different Mickey Mouse design era, link and are engraved with its series number on the caseback. The 2023 Mickey U1S-HS2 and 1947 Mickey U2S-T-HS come equipped with the Automatic Caliber Sellita SW200-1 b which provides hour, minutes and seconds functions. The 1929 Mickey U3-HS, the chronograph diver, is equipped with a Meca-quartz movement (Seiko VK64A). All three watches are 300m water resistant.
